My interest in radio began when I built a Crystal radio set in 1959. As a teenager I listened to the world through shortwave broadcasts. For 5 years I worked as a host, announcer and producer for the Life Talk Radio Network. I also created and hosted a program for Adventist World Radio.
During my 26 years as a pastor in California and Oregon I would find the opportunity to expand my ministry with a radio program on local stations. My experiences working in the Irish Mission for 3 years made me aware of the unique approaches necessary to reach beyond the religious and cultural comfort zone we find ourselves in.
I continue to believe that radio is an excellent medium for Faith building and teaching the Gospel and gives local congregations opportunity to reach beyond their church walls.
